His resume is very strong for a DL coach. Would like to know more about his recruiting abilities but I trust that Mario would not hire a position coach unless he was a top shelf recruiter. I liked Jess Simpson as DL coach but his recruiting left a lot to be desired. Salave’a is a significant upgrade.

I remember watching that when it happened... That one splash shook up the wrestling world at the time.... Snuka busted open the door to the high flying madness wrestling is known for today....
Before that match with Muraco , Snuka fought Backlund in a cage as well and climbed to the top of the cage and leaped.... Difference being Backlund rolled out of the way and Snuka hit the canvas .... That in it's self was crazy to see but when he hit Muraco it blew everyone away... Credit to Muraco for taking the bump... I don't know if I coulda laid there and let someone hit me from that height....

Haku/Meng is without doubt the toughness man the wrestling business has ever seen, not even the Steiner brothers would mess with him, the road stories of Haku are legendary!

And he actually did have a son who played LB at UTEP, Tevita aka Tanga Loa who used to be in NXT & TNA, I think he still wrestles for New Japan today.

Oh **** I didn't know Tanga played at UTEP. Him and Tama Tonga are my effing guys. GoD!!!! BC!!! 2 SWEET!!!

But it would he nice if they had other bloodline kinfolk on the up and coming just as tough as Haku, kids would legit fear our team.

Funny you mentioned the Steiners cuz Rick Steiners son is currently in NXT and being pushed as a future star.

My wife and I shared a table with him at a mutual friends wedding about 15 years ago in Orlando. The dude was as nice as can be. I remember him telling me he was selling cars at the time. I'm sure he was dude was killing it. No pun intended. Super likeable guy. Not to be ***ed with tho!!! That was clearly obvious.
