When we land guys like Blades, Frierson, Hall, Ivey, and hopefully at least one of Campbell/Surtain/Samuel, then we're just fine. That's the opposite of "poor recruiting." It's when you miss on on guys like Tarvarus McFadden and replace him with Terrence Henley that you've got a problem.

Sometimes we're gonna be on the wrong side of a decision. South Florida is talent rich and every elite program spends time down here. Guys like Jeudas and Gosh Goob were always going to go to Bama, for one reason or another.

Negativity with a December 2017 registration date...seems legit.

News flash - These kids don’t owe you, the coaches or the University of Miami anything. They’re free to go wherever they choose.

It would be one thing if Jobe signed a LOI and then tried to back out of it. He didn’t. He did the classy thing and informed the coaches he would be signing elsewhere two months before NSD to give them a chance to recruit other targets. He handled the entire process with grace and dignity and the harsh language and insults he is receiving in this thread are absolutely disgusting.

Josh Jobe, a young man who was not only committed 2+ years but more than once voiced his 1000% commitment status, switched his pledge from Miami (us) to a rival (them) that we do not care much for. He did it during the same weekend that we are having our biggest official visit in the history of the program. He did it after our coaches traveled 100s of miles in the past few weeks to visit him. I'm sure you can understand how this is a slap in the face, a threat to the self of Miami fans. The question is, are you a Miami fan? We're not running a research firm here where objectivity reins supreme above all else. By congratulating Jobe, you raised questions about your commitment to the group. Now I get that you may be a journalist, but I don't think you will be viewed as a credible source on a fan message board if you are deemed to be outside of the ingroup. Might not be the right thing but it's human nature. Just my opinion.
