I don’t believe the staff felt they had a chance after the meeting with Jobe a couple of days ago. I think that’s the public face they wanted out there for public consumption. I think they had a good idea he was gone. But they just wanted to float a positive public picture.

That’s how it works.

In real life and in business. Experience will teach you that. They were just trying to control the message.

You don’t actually know what they believed, just what they wanted you to believe.

And I’m not being critical of either you or them. That’s the right thing to do in that situation. You don’t want to paint a doom and gloom picture. The public face always has to be positive. Nothing is gained by walking out of there all doom and gloom. It’s the right PR move. Smart people stage manage this kind of thing, that’s how big business works and that’s how the big boys play the game. I’ve seen it a million times.

Asante Samuel & Ty Campbell should've been priorities over him as soon as he went up to Connecticut.

Put the full court press on Asante, been saying since October of 2016 that he was the best pure cover Corner in the 18 class & still feel the same. Never was overly impressed with Jobe or Surtain as CB's to be perfectly honest, both are big Safety's.

It's recruiting - a world where millionaires have to lick the ****s of 18 year old kids until they sign the LOI.

They have to go all out and try everything to encourage the players they want to sign on the line that is dotted.

By the FBI, maybe. God knows the NCAA wouldn't do anything. They don't want UM to keep all the south Florida talent home, so they LET Bama and these other schools do whatever they have to do to take kids from the area.
