Jobe changing up his OV schedule

Per Rivals, Jobe was originally planning to OV to Michigan this weekend, but has cancelled that trip and isn’t sure if he’ll reschedule. Says he is planning to OV to Bama on December 15th and will OV to Miami in January, but hasn’t set a date yet.

What do you guys make of this? I’d prefer he visits Miami on the 15th with all our other commits, but getting his last OV before he signs in February doesn’t hurt either.

It was just a couple of months ago that Michigan "insiders" were trying to tell us that it was Michigan that placed Jobe at his prep school, and that they had an inside track, and that several other Michigan players had gone the same route, and that someone on the prep school staff was helping to steer Jobe to Michigan...

And now he's not even going to visit Michigan.

Alabama has been in the mix all along.

It’s us and Bama but after speaking to Pete and Gil this kid is a lock. Especially after the season we’re having. Blew everyone’s expectations.

He's been committed since 2015, I don't think we lose him now

If he’s not signing early then he doesn’t need to come on an official visit to miami in December and that goes for any of our other top targets or commits.

Now to just hope he isn't blown away at Bama on the 15th and have them talk him into committing signing the following week. As long as that doesn't happen, we should be good.
