Bama probably told him that he needs to go ahead and commit bc they have other targets they're going after who will take his spot. Then Devonta Smith is about to commit & JJ probably know that Smith is leaning towards Bama & he's trying to beat Smith to the punch. I mean just think about it, JJ has been saying he would commit on NSD or at the US All-American game. Now he just wants to come out the blue & commit. He feels the pressure of Smith committing & he's trying to get his spot locked up. He will still take his OV'S but he's trying to get his spot. I know Bama will take both no matter what but IJS

To me this is a good thing that he's doing this now. Really want the staff to get on Harley. Said it months ago and people were like "huh?" And now everyone wants him.

Keep on recruiting Jeudy, but go and be safe and get Harley locked in. You can ease out Scott if Jeudy or Smith want in.
