Today at practice over at Miramar, coaches from Tennessee were in attendance to talk to top 2013 target Jermaine Grace. While many (including myself) think that the Canes are the team to beat for the talented 4-star player, Volunteer coaches aren't stopping his recruitment or backing off.

I still that it's a matter of time until Grace signs with The U, but Tennessee is going to stick in this recruiting battle until the bitter end.

I heard they were there and I laffed. They won't even have a job in a couple months

Agreed,

I see Tennessee going 6-6 with 3 of those wins coming against Georgia State, Akron, and Troy.

2010- 6-7
2011- 5-7

Currently 3-5 with Troy, Missouri, Vandy, Kentucky remaining.

Put that all together and add in the fact the SEC East is clearly the weaker of the two sides... Dooley needs to run the table
 
If you're a Tennessee fan, you should be in full-on "rooting for the opposition" mode. UT winning out this year is the absolute worst thing that could happen. That would delay the inevitable by a year and poisons two recruiting classes instead of one.

Tennessee is down to Troy right now, and Troy has the ball.

They've given up 37 and not even in the 4th yet. Dooley might not make it past the weekend.

You would know all about this.

If the people doing the hiring and firing are swayed by a late run that includes wins against the Vols remaining slate then the program is screwed anyway. If there was a chance victories against that level of competition was going to save his job, no way they hire the right replacement anyway.
