In 2022 Houston had #25 offense with 456 yards per game, in 2021, our offense was #20 with 448 yards per game. Top 25 offense is not some great impossibility. Its really not. We have a OC who done it multiple times and a QB who has done it in a similar scheme 2 years ago. From a talent standpoint i will take these pieces over what we had in 2021. Particularly on the OL.

Man here acting like i said top 5. Lmao. Beaten dogs.
If TVDs health and his mind is right, we can definitely look like a different team.

The OL should be a lot better. We still lack elite weapons but we didn’t have elite weapons under Lashlee either. Rambo had an incredible season but it’s not like he was a unicorn WR.

Last year was just a house of horrors I don’t think it told us a whole lot about some of our players if that makes sense.

That's all fine and dandy, but it doesn't explain the behavior of the 7v7 coaches. Why badmouth the local school? What's the motivation behind that? That's just burning bridges.

I see it for what it is? They get paid from OOS schools. They don't want the gravy train to stop. There's no reason for grown men who coach and mentor these young men to be on social media bashing Miami or any school. Nor should they be showing some schools more love than others. Their job isn't to influence the young men in their decision, but to prepare and mentor them for the opportunities that come their way. However, that isn't what's happening. They are publicly throwing shade at UM and glorifying others. I can only imagine what's being said privately.

These coaches don't exist on social media without the players they have. When they take to social media, some of them are acting like power brokers and influencers rather than coaches and mentors.

Same **** different season. Then when we target national kids, the local handlers/coaches bad mouth us.

Best scenario is to win and tell them to **** off when we have the leverage,

Side note: Very few even know, or give a **** about who these coaches are. I sure as **** don't.

Not beaten dogs, just want to see it actually come together. Way way too many question marks. It’s possible but after we just fielded the worst offense in memory I’ll revert to an earlier post, slow down.
Agreed with both of you guys

I really can’t find myself making any predictions because it’s like a new team hitting the field

But I’m cautiously optimistic

Yeah but at that point TVD had never golfed before

Western Kentucly, UTSA, SMU, GA Southern, North Texas, Texas Tech, East Carolina. App St at #26. Not a single one of these teams had better talent than we did.
😂😂😂😂you saying this cause u assume its no way those lower level schools can have more talent at wr than miami well guess what i got bad news for u lol. Add that they had a better wr room they also faced a lower level of competition.

Some of those are just crazy lies because rashee rice was at smu 2nd rd pick, zakhari franklin was a top portal wr. I think you are forgetting a juco walked on and was our #1 after lmao that doesn’t indicate a top 25 talented wr room.

Just because u dont know those players or they weren’t rated high as ours dont make them less talented

What wr do we have on tank dell level?

What wr do we have on rambo level?

I hope u are right but idk what u see in that room that makes u think its top 25 talented u think they hunted in the portal and took walk ons and because they were comfortable with the room?

We definitely need that one guy to step up and be our #1 and as much hate as he got, we lost a lot of production in Mallory as well

I know people like Colbie a lot and he’s intriguing but not sure he’s capable of producing against the other teams best DBs. I dunno. We will see.

I do think a kid like Joseph is going to make an early impact. Tyler Harrell is super intriguing. Horton was making some noise.

But yeah to your point, lots of question marks.

We don’t have a Rambo yet, not even sure we have a Mike Harley who had a pretty underrated season in 2021 for us

Every single one of those 8 teams would switch roster with Miami and put up similar or better numbers in their conference. You talking bout i dont know those players. Other than that boi from UTSA, neither do you.

We have potential at WR but none have proven **** yet, maybe X. Harrell hasn’t played in a long while and while talented has to prove that. Then we have Dawson. A solid hire but I think he is being put on a pedestal right now. His best years were under Dana, while he has been on his own he has been mediocre. Hopefully the Dawson we get is a replica of what we saw in Houston but there just isn’t any guarantee of that. Like I said, there is potential but we gotta slow down, we do this every summer/fall…

Agreed I think our most talented guys are young and even tho i think they can make an impact it’s just unfair to me to expect them to carry a load on offense

Name a OL that was better than Francis, Cohen, Matt Lee. Houston QB was a bum and Dawson got him drafted in the 5th round. TVD could have drafted 5th round off last season with Gattis. Give me the better OL and QB.

We not playing in those conferences my guy and dont try to slight my knowledge because u dont know those guys lmao. And we talking about wr room why u switching it to roster talk? Duh i will take a p5 roster in a g5 league lol

Same questions going into 2021. Saying a team has potential to do something above average is now controversial. You scared am gonna get clipped by the gators? U trying to save my feelings?

Well tell these man that are so much more talented on all those 8 teams. Dont play with semantics. No one knows 95% of those players putting up those numbers. Why u bringing up conferences. U said them man more talented than Miami. They were and are not.

You mentioning everything except what we talking about. Elite offenses have explosive pass games, explosive pass games have multiple wrs that have shown they can produce.

Who the **** said that qb was better than tvd, both are just gonna be good college qbs anyway not like they on the level of the elite guys in cfb. Oline is gonna be improved cool, elite skill positions create elite offenses where are our elite players? U scooped low to compare us to lower level schools lol thats funny

Why bring up conferences? U serious? U know level of competition matters correct? And i said they have more proven talent than us, tell me where i lied. A juco walked into our wr room and was the guy lol

U asked me what less talented team had a top 25, i named 8. Now you are talking about elite skill position players. Whats elite? Our WRs who helped us to top 25 were undrafted free agents. What is this man smoking. Send me some papa.

Shockey walked into the best team of all time and was the guy lol

Good college talent doesn’t mean nfl talent lol I thought that was obvious. And yes we are talking about skill positions that’s literally what I started with and u named p5 schools
Shockey walked into the best team of all time and was the guy lol
😭😭😭😭aye u win

Our offense had far less questions going into 2021, what are you talking about? Lashlee proved in 2020 that he knew what he was doing with our roster. Yes King got injured and TVD stepped in superbly but the offense was expected to put up points. Now to your second point, saying a minimum of a top 25 national offense is not above average though. That’s having a top tier offense, if you said top 50 I would say fair but that’s not what you said. The last part of your post makes no sense…
