Me personally i dont care...im not a 7 on 7 guy an dont care about coddling these guys. But the SFE usually hoards alot of the elite s.fla talent..and does it from EARLY.

Glad to see some of the other 7 on 7 programs come up like SF FIRE, RAW, that are also friendly with us.

Smith recruitment would always be different. His older bro already went through the recruiting process and he has an older cousin as a starting qb in the nfl. They werent ever gonna be the family u sell bs too and expect to get em...Ya gonna have to show them that they are gonna get their kid to the league in 3 years....OSU seems to be that smooth path right now.

Im bias though cause i know the fam and brought his name up on the board when he was a 11 year old.

It just feels like we will never win with a segment of our home base. Like I don’t think we could put out 3 straight 1st round WRs and get a guy like this but maybe I’m just too jaded

Yeah forgot how expensive it was to get a bunch of kids from Miami to come visit Miami. I mean gas is $5/gallon now in Cali! Man those travel expenses are really setting these coaches back. Wonder how much of that these "coaches" collect lol. Keep in mind agents aren't allowed >3% in the NFL. If Miami pays $10k to get a group there, these "coaches" should only get $300 max, yet I bet they're keeping far more for their "services" whatever that actually is.

These coaches are collecting all this money from other schools where there actually may be expenses to travel and all that, then ******** over the home town school likely by threating they wont come if they don't pay up. Meanwhile they're like less than an hour drive away. Cause thats SOOO helpful for the players - not all of whom are 5 stars...

Not gonna quote anybody because i was in this thread earlier and said my piece but something is doing my head in. Yes Miami been bad for 20 years, the local, kids seen it, the national kids see it. Cristobal comes in, the program start spending, the national kids see it, the local kids see it. The national buy into what Cristobal is selling and the local kids are skeptical. Thats why we can get multiple 5 stars from OOS, last class and might be in for more from out of state. Why is that? Well the national kids didnt have man from SFE and other handlers telling them how bad Miami is, they been doing it since Al Golden era. Thats why its hard to sell them a vision, because of orgs like SFE and others, they just prominent now. The poison thats been sprinkled on Miami for years down here. We spending, we on NIL, we building outa space facilities. OOS kids see it and say yup, no results yet but they serious. They spending like Texas, Texas A&M, Ohio, Bama. Results will come.

The local kids nope, we not gonna help, fix it first. And thats because they been poisoned. Man on here spread some of it themselves. My problem is, i understood all that with Manny and before but dont act like its the same thing when Miami doing all the things off the field we were not doing pre Mario. Shemar Stewart went to Texas A&M to go 5-7 in Jimbo 5th year, just like Miami in Mario first. But its all ok.

And thats why am glad we going national. Fook em who dont see the vision and love the ones who do. We should cancel the visit.

That overgrown thumb on the SFE payroll spends the better part of his time on social media going at it with Miami fans and trashing the school. Did it all of last year with Innis. I can't remember his handle.

Again, no problem if kids leave after we have given them no reason to stay and now they want to see what our offense looks like. Big problem with adults getting paid by OSU to get kids to act like that. That's the opposite of what a mentor and role model is supposed to do. But in saying SFE is not the cancer, you are literally defending the behavior of their coaches and hangers on.

You also mentioned Stewart. He went for big money as A&M were paying out big. He also joined what was the highest rated recruiting class of all time. We put together those two things, he maybe would've been here. All the facility upgrades we're doing is a drop in the bucket compared to A&M.

We're going national because that's what schools do. Lots of recruits will wait and see what we do on the field because they all heard the vision last year and it was more of the same for us, empty promises. I don’t know any of guys at SFE but I’m familiar with the 7v7 scene. I do think a couple of their coaches are just goofy on social media but I take it as immature. That being said, doesn’t Chance play for SFE? Why are people still upset with them? We also got Ray Ray last year too.

Best decision for any recruit is the one that sets him up best for the next level. I don't have a stake in any of these recruits lives and wish we'd get the ones that would bring us back. I do get the process as moving differently doesn't mean **** until we do. Show me.

Bamdwagon is a dumbass term. We wouldn't have a problem if everyone wanted to come. We didn't when we were on top. We got plenty of bandwagon recruits then, so what, they became Canes. Look at what teams these kids go to in high school like a bunch of mercenaries. IMG, Central, STA, Heritage, etc. You don't want those kids?

Moving all over the place to be on a better team. Call it bandwagon, I'll call it smart if it improves their stock. I personally don't like it, it didn't happen in my time. You won and lost with the players you grew up with and helped make you who you were. Gotta move with the times though.
