I agree But…. I want the Staff to recruit him as vigorously as possible until he actually sign. And while they do, I will Not be following his recruitment. I ignore his recruitment articles and really have little expectation. But, hey I’ll take a Smith surprise over disappointment. At least this is how I’m handling his recruitment.

Be real here. If you're a top WR recruit in the country and you can play anywhere you want, are you coming here? Right now, until we show something, I'm staying the **** away.

I've been a fan of this program for roughly 40 years. I'd have to pass now. Show me an offense. Show me the guy who is going to get me the ball when it's my time.

We aren't supposed to land this type of WR right now. That's just the cold *** truth of it as things and today. Middle of the season, we better show an offense and it would be extremely helpful to see who is next after TVD.

People love to say so an so hates us. Heritage hates us. SFE hates us. Deerfield hates us. Locals hate us. The list is long. You know what they hate, the same things we as fans have hated for two decades. The product we put on the field. We want love, let's give them something to love. Until then, quit blaming recruits, schools, etc. They aren't the problem or cancer as you said, it's been us.

That's my point. Innis, by all accounts, was at least contemplating Miami (albeit a very slightly opened door) and those same insiders swore that had Miami had a good offense, we would have had a great shot at innis. If that was the case with innis and according to you, if he was a bigger lock to osu than Smith, then it stands to reason that if this offense does what it's capable of, Smith's recruitment could get real interesting. I personally don't think he comes but it's an interesting discussion especially in light of what you said.

I agree with alot of that. Nothing ever stopped us from getting the right coach, getting the right coordinators, & choosing the right scheme. We made all those mistakes on our own.

I mean but I think innis was an actual Miami fan too tho so the variables were a little off. But you’re not wrong

Yup, exactly who im talking about. He tweeted that shyyyyt at another recruit. I been not give a fook if he comes or goes. We will rebuild the program, we dont need people like this kid to do it. And like i said, not all these south florida kids are the same. Bain and Damari did not carry on like this guy. Even people who left like Marvin Jones. Its that haas behaviour am on about. But u man will defend anything. These mofos are gods apparently. By your logic why should any recruit at all come here for any state or area? Not like they aint getting compensated nicely and Miami going out their way now to upgrade everything. U dont wanna come here, fook em. Simple. And none of what u say gonna change my mind cause i aint gonna spend 6 months crying about anyone who commits elsewhere. Next.

That would be true, but you lose me on this when SFE's coaches or whatever are openly mocking Miami, talking trash to the hometown team, pushing their players to do the same. If Innis and whoever else want to go to OSU or Bama or really wherever else, I get that. They do not owe Miami anything as far as loyalty and I get the business decision. But when people spend their time and resources recruiting you, you don't act like that. I would say the same for a Miami pledge who trolls UF or FSU. That is especially true when you are a grown adult who is riding these kids' coattails.

I'm not defending behavior.

Those are two separate things. I also though realize that these are teenagers and they're not well versed in life.

In the same breath, people on here take offense at what's said even when there's nothing there. Kid can say the weather was nice and posters get all ****ed he didn't say it was a sunny 80 degrees, but 55 up in Columbus with rain.

He goes somewhere else, fine.

I did ask you a question though. Are you coming here right now, today? ***** all the but, could, would, or whatever the future holds. You commuting right now or not?

Also, where's all the terrible things the SFE coached have said? I'd love to see them.
