Coach Richt was at my school today for Jr. Jaquaze Sorrells, Jr, 4* DT. Coach Richt announced they also just offered Sophomore RB/CB Jayion McCluster today. You may recognize the last name, his brother is Dexter McCluster. Dexter graduated from Largo High, played at Ole Miss, and made the All-Pro team as a kick returner for the Chiefs and Titans. Jayion is a burner who also has offers from the likes of UF and Michigan.

I doubt Coach Richt announced it. I don't think coaches are allowed to publicly discuss recruits by name until they sign.

Not sure when/if Richt announced it, but Richt told me directly and the Largo head coach announced it after Jayion posted it on Twitter. Largo High has been putting athletes into the NFL and Division I schools for years now, hopefully Miami gets one finally.

No stone left unturned. A school that puts out talent in the state is a school we need to have ties to. I’m glad Rick is leading this transition to the big time.
