After showing his skills at Paradise Camp on Saturday, 2020 Glades Central WR Ja'Vontae Williams has landed an offer from the Canes. You may remember he had a big 5 TD performance at the Mark Richt 7-on-7 tournament on campus last month as well. With other offers from schools like Oregon, USF, and FIU, the 6'2" 190 pounder is working on reclassifying to the 2019 class.

@Stefan Adams would he still be a take for us in the '19 class, or would that only increase his value in our eyes given how stacked the '20 class is looking? Could we possibly take three WR's in '19?

Before I get beat down for this, I know it's a stupid question, but could this offer mean that they didn't make the inroads with Haselwood that they were hoping for? For the record, it's my OPINION that Haselwood just isn't feeling UGA and if we have a good season, he would rather be at UM. Just my gut.

Sounds good.

4 WRs would probably be the high mark in the '20 class, but we still need to recruit.

And Glades Central is always a good place to look for talent.

Maybe the "commitable offer" is contingent on him being able to reclassify to 2019? Just ironic he is offered when news surfaces that he wants to reclassify.

There's no way the staff wouldn't have known about his intentions to reclassify prior to offering unless they did no due diligence or asked any questions. I also doubt they offer him for only 2020 knowing he is trying to move up a year. So my gorilla reasoning leads me to believe he is a take for the 19 or 20 class. I don't know enough about him to like or dislike, but we have a lot of bodies in the WR room it seems.

If he can reclassify for 2019 you absolutely take him in this class.

For 2020, Rosemy & Robinson are the top 2, but you obviously have to always keep options open because it's still a long ways til the 2020 NSD & a lot of crootin' will happen between now & then.

The Muck has some really talented players coming up in future classes, reopening that pipeline would pay dividends in the long run.

That's important getting our hooks into the Muck area. We just have to keep up our no bags recruiting efforts.
