Apparently Vandy matched his offer and along with a promise to improve facilities.

This guy may be a great coach, and he's the hottest guy out there save maybe Strong. He'd be nuts to take PSU with the kind of buyout they would insist on.
 
PGA Tour Pro Brandt Sneddeker offered to give him lifetime lessons for free if he stays at Vandy. Maybe The Rock could do some wrestling lessons for BFA to leave.
 
Overrated as well..gets beat badly year in year out by SEC teams....so this year he beats a ****** UGA, TEN and UF...who didn't beat them this year...

He is good for PSU...but Vandy is a small place and easy to control...oooops rape charges...Yea he is ready for prime time.
 
With Vandy winning they are only going to get better. Franklin staying gives them the chance to grow.

if franklin turns it down, i think they offer golden. Munchank is an nfl guy
 
Rumor is that PSU increased their offer and he took it. Just rumblings on different boards. Nothing substantiated.

Meh. The "drama" is over at PSU. The media has moved on. Country doesnt care anymore. Now its all about the fanbase and boosters, and they want to WIN. They have laid low and weathered the bad press, now they want to win and rebuild. Its back to business as usual at PSU. People in PA are done with the Sandusky stuff.

James Franklin in two years combined beat a grand total of 3 winning teams from BCS conferences. Every top ten team he plays drops 50 on him. He is easily the most overrated coach ever.
 
Any of you who think Franklin and rape scandal are connected are fools. Is he supposed to do bed checks on college students? As soon as the administration found out about what the 3 players did, they were immediately off the team. Vandy even kicked off the 2nd best offensive player who wasn't prosecuted by the DA. What else can the man do? Anyone who knows anything about Vandy football knows this guy is going to be a star. He is a great recruiter, person in the Nashville community, as well as a good gameday coach.
