Means everything for him to be coaching at Miami
Has worked 20 years for this. Has a love and passion for coaching
Wanted to coach here, just wanted to be a part of the program. Dream come true to actually get a chance to coach again
Knows how Golden thinks, was part of the reason he was chosen. He knows the process just like Golden does. He sees his vision, loves the players
Excited about the RBs he has. Says Gus is a "big ol boy" lol
Likes everything about Griffin, says he will play the X receiver and TE. Don't get athletes like him very often. Says Griffin loved Miami and knew a lot of UM when they contacted him
On Elder: he has loved Miami since he was four years old. Can't pass up a kid like him
Lockey: playing saftey here :eekeyes: Says he is big, fast and violent

Lockley playing safety is nuts. That's a big safety.

Love my DBs to have a background on offense. Means they have ball-skills.

-Said it was a dream come true to get a coaching position here

-Understands Golden's "process" says he see Al's vision and love's where it is going
-Says Edwards is a "Big ole boy" doesn't need to run out of bounds
-Still trying to figure out what RLIII is going to play
-Likes everything about Derrick griffin size,speed ect... says you don't get guys that big that athletic that often
-Will play some X receiver and probably some TE
-Says first time the asked Derrick about what he knows about the University of Miami he said "Oh YEAH and began talking.... really letting the coaches know they have an in here
-Corn's Mom told the coaches he has been a huge fan of the []_[] since he was 4
-Couldn't pass up on a kid who loves the U wants to be here and can play
-Lockley is a safety a BIG safety ....he is physical,fast,violent,athletic everything you want on the defensive side of the ball
-Joked about he could put together a squad of football players and challenge the basketball team
-Said Duke pulled himself during the Duke game so Mike could score in his final game
-Wants to see work and competition in the spring because that is what built the U
-Raved about Sonny again saying 4 years ago he never even had running water.... and he loves being a hurricane and being here.
-Joked saying Standish recruited the coaches calling them to recruit him... then once committed never wavered
 
Coley:
Griffin and Elder jump out at you, have ability to change the game
Trying to keep as much as he can from previous offense
Pro style offense with spread, and wants to "catch teams going fast"
But still wants to play smash mouth football
Team has a lot of size and speed, that was a big draw for him
Morris has great hands, has a good feel
Stacy Coley adds a different dimension to the receiving core
Sounded really excited for the TEs. Says they are hybrids that can change how the defense plays. Talked about the the Patriots
Very excited about finally being able to call plays.
Other schools know how tough it is to recruit against Miami because of education and alumni.
Not just about getting the "hyped guy", but the right one. All about how the player fits in system
