Not to change the subject? Best DL coach that UM has ever had? Palermo was good while he was at the U... Couldn't recruit for shiznit but he did an excellen job coaching for us... I'm just saying...Carry onIf we get Briggs, Chatman and Nesta. I don't want to hear another word about Coach Kul's recruiting or not knowing who to target or whatever tf.
He didnt reach out to Chatman (Diaz did) or Briggs (Banda did). In other words, he is a great coach, but that is apparently it.
Lol where did this sneak dissing of Coach Kool come from?? He's the best dl coach UM has ever had... His reputation is great recruiting enough you fool. Do you think every school decision a recruit makes is due to the recruiter of that school doing a better job "recruiting" that prospect? Gtfoh
Butch Davis wasn't too shabby. Rick Petri was good, too. Bob Karmelowicz might be the best of all. We won a national title with Eric Miller and Anthony Hamlet as our two starting defensive tackles in 1991.
Palermo was cooking with gas in 2006. He couldn't get along with Shannon and got thrown under the bus.
Kul is a darn good position coach and one of the best in the country.
Not sure where Greg Mark would rank but he did have some great lines during his tenure.
Doesn't get a lot of credit IMO
