Looking for prospects in the class of 2025 and this kid immediately caught my eye. Listed at 6-1 165.
His athleticism isn't crazy. He lists himself with a 4.5 40 and a 4.2 shuttle, so you'd have to assume he's slightly slower than that. However, this kid is a route god! To add to that, check out this production: 63 catches, 1,578 yds and 23 TDs. Holy mackerel!
Steele is a D1/NFL factory that has churned out numerous prospects. They actually had a safety prospect I wanted us to recruit last class.
In addition, that area the school is located in consists of a lot of military families & people that have moved around a lot. They are less hesitant to leave the state of Texas due to that fact. I know because I have a relative that graduated from the school lol.
Jalen's early offers include Baylor, Houston, Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Utah. I would love to see us throw our hat in the ring and get him on campus.
