how did Sony look?
how did Sony look?
Ehh, I said it before. Will say it again, I will give him the benefit of the doubt because when you watch his old film kid was AMAZING, so I dont want to seem so Harsh on a kid coming off a serious injury. But I want to see this amazing film that some guys have been hyping up from THIS YEAR. Because the times I have seen him he doesnt look the same, seems hesitant (which is understandable) Has speed but doesnt seem to turn the corner like before (which should come back in time) and he isnt juking guys like he used to.
If you took the numbers off the jerseys and said to someone who is the stud on that team after the game they would say that little kid Isaiah, kid played nearly every snap both ways, scored ALL their TDs, two deep passes and the opening kick. Sony was shutdown after some early runs by a undersized defense. They had to go exclusively to the pass because sony couldnt really get going. I could understand if AH took Jackson lightly but after they were down everyone was looking to Isaiah to make a play not Sony. Now again I dont want people to take it the wrong way like I am being hard on a guy coming off injury. I know that and understand, I hope that is the case and this was just a step to getting back to 100%, will be looking forward to how he looks in the spring.

The kid had no blocking all game. He still ran for over 100yds as much as he was getting hit as soon as he got the ball. Oline did absolutely nothing. I dont know how much juking ur expecting with two defenders on him when gets a handoff.
Qb Tyler Cogswell threw 3 ints including 2 in the fourth quarter and one was a pick six to kill the game.
Just to add about the game, Jackson has to have been the WORST coached team to win a playoff game, they had atleast 8 offsides penalties (no exaggeration), they had delay of game on back to back plays (with no play ran!) on 2 different occasions. Wasted timeouts. just terrible. And they still won. SMH.

Wtf? How does that happen? They just sat there for 2 minutes without calling a play?
I got hammered for saying this a while back, but I'll say it again....Scarlett>>>>>>>>Michel

I agree with you on the blocking aspect, but still... Dude is an all world back, make something happen. ALot of backs down here have faced some tough defenses come playoff time, you still have to step up. Jackson was kicking to Sony to avoid kicking to Isaiah, lol...

83 there was some in the stands saying #6 was a better qb and should have been used more rather than Tyler, was this just fans in the stands talk or is he a guy that they should have went with. They seem to only use him in the second half to do read options with Sony.

#6 is Torrance Gibson 6'4" 195lbs c/o 2015. He plays qb, wr and safety.
He is a good qb and can even be great but he lacks the footwork. He can be very accurate or just throw passes in the dirt. With great coaching, picture a left handed Geno Smith running a 10.8 100m. I think his best position at the next level is wr. With his speed, jumping ability he has great potential.
I think last night was a situation where the best qb is the next qb. If he would have helped, it would be because he wouldnt be afraid to run. That would have forced Jackson to stop blitzing. He hasnt gotten enough work on offense to make a difference in that game.
How did mike deeb look, I still think UM is going to regret not offering and accepting his commitment. He looks like potential beast in the middle.

And u will get hammered for saying it again. Sony had more yards, better ypc average and more tds than scarlett on a season when people are saying he had a bad year. Scarlett's a great runningback but Sony is Elite! Take Scarlett second yr of hs and compare to Sony. Sony ran for nearly twice as many yards. Men lie, women lie, numbers dont lie!

Wait, wait... You tell me this kid just needs footwork help, is 2015 recruit, is a great athlete and can throw obviously has great size for position and he should play wr?? Now I will take into account your extreme bias for all thing AH but you dont take a kid with the potential to be Geno smith and play him anywhere else but QB. QB is the most important position in football it completely changes your team. Look at Jackson with flowers, they might win 1 game without him this year.
Just thinking with a guy like Sony, next to him, McKenzie outside and that TE #22 it would be much harder to defend from a defensive standpoint. Not saying about this year as they had a senior they believed in but they need to go ALL IN with that kid, didnt know he was that young. There is a element he could bring that the other qb couldnt with getting out of the pocket when it breaks down and making plays. Put that kid at QB, let him gain confidence, open up the offense more and it will be better for all.
