I personally don't care how we got there, or we looked. I personally don't care if they look like the '85 Bears mixed with the '99 Rams. It's FSU-Miami. I'm loving the fact that FSU fans are already making fun of me on Facebook. I'm loving the fact that we're going to be 10-14 (or more) point underdogs. I'm loving it. I love this team, and we might get killed, but as Golden said last year, I wouldn't trade places with them.

I think the intensity of the rivalry game will eliminate the huge spread. If we win the turnover margin we have a legitimate chance to stun the noles in tally
 
I just like the fact that we've been tested this year. FSU has not. If this game is close in the 4th quarter, we win. Of course, there is a good chance it won't be close in the 4th quarter. But if it is, this Miami team knows it will win.
 
Shiiiiiiiiiiiit 10-14? I was thinking based on today FSU's line would move to like 21-24.

But yea, I like it. Nobody is giving us a shot. Everyone in the media, all my friends, are calling Miami the most overrated team in the country and Winston will expose us. Gives this team a chip on their shoulder.
 
No way in **** FSU is favored by 21. If I was making the line, I'd make it at 14.5. It might be a little higher, but I don't think Vegas will have a knee jerk reaction. It's a rivalry game, it won't be 21+.

Didn't watch the FSU-NC State game, but I just saw the NC State's RB ran for 181 yards against FSU. To anyone who watched, were a lot of those yards in garbage time? Or can FSU really not stop the run?
 
I only watched the 1st quarter, but NC St couldn't move the ball for ****. I feel like all their points/yards came in the 2nd half when the starters were getting pulled.

I saw score updates, so I know their points did, but was wondering about yards. He had 181 on 24 carries. Unless those all came against 2nd teamers, Duke should be able to run on them.

NCSU team stats (not including sacks) ---- 12 rushes for 27 yds in the 1st Q. 17 rushes for 21 yds in 2nd Q. 10 rushes for 119 yds in 3rd Q (including a 72 yd TD run). 10 rushes for 35 yds in 4th Q.

The game was already over by halftime, and other than a little success in the 3rd, NCSU didn't do much on the ground.

Well we didnt look like we could move the ball that well today either, against cot **** Wake. FSU a little different. If theres one week this season the offense breaks out and plays like we all have hoped theyd play i dont see any reason we can come out with the W. We gotz tha playaz, time ta play mane! Sure, our LBs looked slow as **** today, despite those wide gap sets, they still ran in quick sand laterally. Clean up the CB play. FSU aint gonna dink and dunk like these fools. Score 35, play D, and rub that Famous **** bish in the dirt. WIN!

I expect us to be 20pt dogs when it opens. Massey has us at 23pt dogs and lines are usually pretty close. I could care less. More hype towards FSU, and less to Miami can't hurt us.

They will make it the highest spread against a rank team and history and have a lot of folk lose big money...
