Mcgee has really stepped it up. I was not sold on mcgee. Disliked him even. He is a football player now, finally.

Kid has taken a LOT of heat in the last few years, but he's REALLY stepped it up this year. He's finally playing up to his potential. Having a very good season. Kid has been balling.
 
I'm glad you manned up..lol I was defending him because I knew he was going to have a Marcus Maxey type year. I just knew it. His draft stock is going way up. he contained his edge and even had I think 2 TFL's tonight.
 
Agree. I'll never forget 2010. When a girl who was banging him told me that McGee was disappointed about possibly making the acc championship game because he would miss the Wiz Khalifa concert. Times have changed. He's physical now and has become a player for us.
 
Some kids get it quicker than others. It's the reason we really shouldn't dog these guys so hard. It's not McGee's fault when he got here we were so short handed that he couldn't RS like he needed, or that he had to start before he should have. Had we been good, he'd have redshirted, not been needed badly as a freshman, and started balling by his Junior year.

McGee really did play solid containing the edge for the most part and being physical. He had shown alot of improvement
