"How much they utilize the tight end," Briggs told InsideTheU following the win. "Especially how I'm used in my philosophy in my high school–I'm used as a flex. I can block, I can do anything, so I'm very satisfied with how Coach Woodiel did."
Briggs got to spend some time on Saturday morning exploring Miami's Coral Gables campus and that was a highlight of the visit. "It blew me away. I've never been anywhere else than California. Just being here in Florida, I never thought I would be here," Briggs said.
"Me and [tight end recruiting analyst Alec Da Silva] been on the phone a few times and we just had to make it happen and now it's happening and I really think it's been a good experience," Briggs said.
Miami being a private school and its campus life was impressive to Briggs. Now that Briggs has seen it for himself, Miami is absolutely a top contender for his services. "They're considered up there with me right now if I'm being honest," Briggs said. "It's a possible chance that I could commit here."
