I had this conversation with my buddy at work who is a LSU fan, and we were talking about the top teams outside the SEC doing. He mentioned that if teams like FSU, Oregon, Oklahoma would not survive an SEC season, and have about 5 losses. Would not handle a tough schedule.

I mentioned to him isn't it funny that Texas A&M, and Missouri who were middle of the pack in the Big 12 came in with thier big 12 recruits, and made themselves right at home in year 2? Oklahoma put that high powered offense with Trevor Knight, and ripped Alabamas defense to shreds. Then he mentioned they wouldn't survive the schedule?? BS!

I think a lot of teams outside the conference would come in and do just great.

The SEC strength is badly skewed towards the top 4 teams. Other conferences have better parity therefore better overall competition.

Remember when all the talking heads at the 4LN said Stoops was crazy for calling the SEC out about being top heavy and saying with a good QB thats mobile you can beat them. Then he goes out in the Sugar Bowl and does just that with ease against Bama and the 4LN is shocked LMAO!!!!!!
