If he's gone to take care of the family then there is no problem and no one can say that's wrong.

Just was wondering why Blake would dodge the question. He could have said "No we didn't know this was coming the family situation came out of nowhere but we wish Barrow best of luck."

Or "Yes we knew the decision to leave was coming but her condition has become grave so Mike has left to assist with that."

Which would have led to folks asking "Well why didn't he leave sooner?" if they all had known the status of his mothers condition for some time now.

For 2 years I witnessed SMD working firsthand, and in all reality, Blake was probably dodging HER, not the question. She is completely unprepared and has an interview style I would describe as "cat lady".
