Miami can't bring recruits to road games.

Back in the '80s coaches would go to HS games on Friday nights. Before one game in Texas they went to watch a blue-chip HS QB. Can't remember the QB's name.They probably did this quite a bit back then.
Don't know if these kinds of visits are allowed now with more strict rules on visits.

The only two decent sized cities near Boone are Asheville (nearly two hours) and Johnson City TN. Asheville usually produces one or two good prospects a year.
