Where is the downhill running game? Where are the TEs?

Oddly enough, we made more of a concerted effort to be a power team last year when we weren't as suited for it.

This year we spread it out with a run/pass ratio all out of whack like Morris is Tom Brady or some ****. I don't get it. What happened to Fisch?

Probably more frustrating for me than the defense. We need to control some clock and keep the defense off the field as much as possible. My only hope is that in 2 games we've been down 14-0 before you can blink and Fisch feels he needs to speed it up.
 
The coaches talk about ball control but consistently come out in a hurry up offense and run quick plays like screens and swing passes that start 3yds behind the line of scrimmage

yea we are young, ya we are inexperienced but we have given up 84pts and 1000+ yds in two games against BC and KState... its not like were playing oregon and ok state
 
Clements fumble on that 1st drive didn't help momentum at all. We were driving, and I think the wheels came off early in this one.

40 yards rushing on 14 carries says give Hagens a chance! Get him on the field and give him/throw him the ball, for pete's sake.

But we saw this against BC, too.

Morris threw 45 times in that game, and we'd already caught up by the end of the 1st quarter.
 
Just look at the game the FB for KSU had. I watched quite a few games yesterday where the FB was blowing people up, turning up big plays.

I know almost everyone will disagree, but I'm more concerned by what I've seen from the offense than I am about the defense.

What kind of identity are we trying to establish? It feels like we're trying to be the Patriots or something.

We are lost on offense, it just happens that we have a lot more talent, and I really think Morris is a good QB.

But I guess that's the downside of being so young. Practices can only tell you so much about what you have.
 
They said pretty much from the beginning that they don't like FBs in this offense and would eventually get rid of it for a H-back/TE type of role.
 
Where is the pro set? Way too much shotgun, Fisch was as bad as coach D yesterday

Plus your D is getting hammered you might want to run some clock on offense
