that we may see our offensive line, here and there, spread out between the hash marks? That formation sure gave us fits, and opened up some running lanes for a crappy offensive line.

Just wonder how it would work with a good offensive line, and running backs like we have at Miami.

Doubt FSU would have prepared for that.

We can't do that, how would the tackle be able to reach the center for the telling leg tap to snap the ball?

I've never seen anything like that and was yelling at the TV. I couldn't understand why we dont just line up normal and shoot the gaps and drop an extra man into coverage.

Seems like everyone in the stadium was screaming the same thing, I still have no idea how we let them do it virtually all game.
It appeared as though our defensive lineman were lining up directly over their OL. I know some of you will say it's because a DL's job is to occupy blockers and let the LB's make plays, but...

FSU would have a field day with that. Just like we should have. Next.

Explain.

If they don't stay on the linemen, and the rb takes off on one side or the other, then you already have 1.5 OL out on that edge. The reason it works is that it opens up running lanes, especially if you have a crappy OL.

But I just wonder how it would work now and then if you spread it out and have a GOOD OL.

I'm interested to see Coley's game plan, I also call BS on him not having some advantage after being on their staff, if nothing else some player tendencies.

And if a screen is ran you have 1 maybe 2 OL that didn't have to delay at all before getting out in front of the RB or WR
