Is it me or are we putting out more offers for the 2020 cycle

We offered so late last season on a lot of 4 and 3 stars and there just isnt much chance when you arrive to the party late.

Oh yea and we’re beating people more often as well. We just beat UGA in offering the best RB in their state for 2021.

How many times did we complain about being beat when offering kids by other schools?

You have to put more offers out then what we've been doing.....you need a broader net or when you miss, there will be nothing left to pick from.

You also need to cast that net EARLY for out of state kids. If you don't, you already missed the boat for most unless they grew up a fan of your school or don't have a better option already on the table.

Offers are great but they don’t really mean ****. Let’s see how this staff prioritizes the 2020 class after the 2019 debacle.

I don't know. I'd love to see the numbers. The rule has always been that you send out the out of state offers early to a) show interest and b) see who really responds. I don't know if we are actually sending out more oos offers or not.

Where Miami seems to get screwed is that when we offer in state/local kids early other programs notice and the local kids often then use our offer as leverage or a placeholder. If we offer local kids late, we didn't show enough "love".

I really don't think any other program has that same problem to that extent. Maybe Texas, sometimes. But you're also talking about a much larger geographic area there.

For ***sake, can we please allow this staff to compile their lists, prioritize, work it and then cull the herd. They have just begun the process, and playing from behind at that. And, bc recruiting is so fluid, Manny and Co. are on Top of it. Y’all whine and moaned about Richt’s lack of involvement. Let’s buckle up and enjoy it.

We need to win. 2017 we were happening and the early signing period was a big success. Then the Orange Bowl loss to WI and the balloon popped. The February signing was a disaster except for one DT. Miami has always been a event place. 2018 sucked because the losses just kept coming.

This staff needs to win football games by coaching what we have better. Our talent should be good enough to going into title games with Clemson undefeated if we find a QB. If that QB is really god, then we have shot at Clemson, not a good one yet but a shot. If we make a game of it and then WIN our bowl game, 2019 local recruiting will go much better. There is not a kid who does not want to be on a Hurricane team like the old ones. It all starts with beating slime lizards in the opener. We had no chance with Mark. The gators owned him, but what the new guy does with Miami is unknown. That is a good for us.
