Interesting take, sounds like insiders are questioning florida

He makes a point many of us here have been saying for years, in response to all the bag excuses And people who say we can’t recruit if we don’t win big first.

Kids want to stay home. You don’t have to give them the best pitch, but you have to give them a credible set of reasons. For years, we’ve been a joke to many kids. A clown show. So of course they look elsewhere.

If Manny can make the pitch credible, and we look better on field, we should be able to recruit well.

hes right, we will find out if its real or fake. Lets see what happens with Marshal

Williams is real, Mello is real, Kinchens is real, those OL are real. Taylor will be real. ... I want Marshall just as much as you. But what Miami is doing is different than anything we’ve seen in over a decade regardless of what he decides.

No way our recruiting hits this level if Manny doesn’t show his nuts and can what was supposed to be this great OC from Bama,a guy Saban was trying to keep, along with a few other guys on the offensive side..

Yea last year was a fiasco but Manny has the “ yea we sucked but we made the changes to fix that and look at the stud coaches I brought in to fix the problems.Kids can see this.

Like everyone says “ kids want to stay home you just have to give them a reason”.manny has given them a reason. Now Manny just has to take this surge from the new coaches and go win some games.I don’t think we have to go undefeated. We just need to show the kids that guys like Lashlee and the guys he brought in truly are the ticket.Give the kids something to be excited about.

We do that and that fence around the State of a Miami will go from the old ragged picket fence it’s been for a decade and a half to a big brick wall that will keep everyone out.

He's not saying anything that's a revelation, he's just an outsider that's so used to the status quo that he can't imagine that there's a change happening.

Our recruiting momentum is very real & the trend isn't going anywhere once the season starts & we play games.

What he's saying is what you would expect from someone who has a very typical outlook on South Fl recruiting is & late to understand the ebb & flow of how things can change on a dime under the right circumstances. Nobody has a better pulse of Miami recruiting than Miami fans (well at least the knowledgeable ones), so you can't expect a dude who's not really tapped in with the scene to have a real understanding of what's happening.

He's hedging & being reluctant to accept that Miami is on the cusp of another recruiting tidal wave & trying to figure out why UF isn't more appealing to kids locally despite them having a winning season. Outsiders are always the last to catch on, so you can't expect for him to have an insightful take about this recruiting class.

UF overplayed their hand, they don't have traction down South like they used to because their staff is incompetent when it comes to recruiting & doesn't know how to connect with South FL kids. Their focus needs to be Northern/Central FL & Georgia, the more they try to make inroads in our territory the easier they'll make it for us.

The 2022 class will show the doubters that this isn't an anomaly or a "fluke", expect to see the same national recruiting writers "shocked" that Miami is keeping a bulk of our best talent home.

What's really gon fúck they head up is after we have a winning season & become more attractive nationally & start snatching up Gunslinger QB's from TX, then they'll start having meetings at the national headquarters trying to figure out a way to put a stop to it.

Take notice, anytime Miami starts recruiting with the big dogs everybody gets nervous & starts trying to figure out everything they can to slow us down, all this signifies is that we have these Mf'ers on the ropes!

Yea u right but man that would be a huge shocker like JW and really send a huge message not only to UGA but everyone including Bama

That was a good video. He was real. I thought he gave UM a lot of credit. It's nice to see a video that's not biased towards one program. He made some great points too.

Right on LCE.... this is their nightmare scenerio. A Miami squad that starts recruiting and winning again. Theyve been used to coming down here to poach whoever they want and now its starng to dry up.

It looks to me like recruits are buying into the idea of a resurgent Miami and see the change in offensive staff as a big step towards that.

Am I off base with that assumption?
