Dude makes a good point about 2003-2007 & NCAA

Below is what he posted:

Out of all the bullcrap, see if it sticks on the wall journalism that has pathetically been on display, what part di you all think the ncaa will actually take seriously?

Ill start by saying anything connected to Hurtt or Stoutland is bullcrap because they are still coaching. I just dont but this "immunity" theiry some have - saying they cut deals to say stuff. I just dont think the ncaa would allow them to coach

The strip clubs, parties, & abortion crap is junk & completely fabricated & not proveable. This is where i think Robinson truly lost his integrity, & just threw that stuff in there for national intrigue & juiciness

What i am most concerned about is the era of 2003-2007. Thats when i think things were really out of control. The agent connection, while publicly denied by all, just seems the most provable with receipts & records. I can even see the NCAA checking with the NFL to see who Wilfork actually signed with. If they can link him to Shapiro via paper we are screwed. Im not worried about the photographs, those arent violations. But what worries me is from 2003-2007 we had a ridiculous amount if early draft departures. The whole Kyle Wright stuff took place sometime in these years. The whole era just always felt icky to me - both on and off the field. All those losses at home to average teams, the off field gun incidents, 7th floor embarrassment, suspensions, etc. bottom line is these years were the worst in program history IMO, & if the NCAA has anything, its gotta be something from the selfish players from these years who MOST not all but most truly were the most selfish in history of program

But the rest of the Shapiro stuff is either false or way overblown by shoddy journalism catering to a willing audience that is just dying to see Miami fall

Thoughts? Is there a statue of limitations that erases my concerns from the era of 2003-2007?

Actually the stuff with Wilfork is the least of the problems because he wasn't playing anymore. If we are going to get nailed it's going to be because of the knowledge of admins, involvement of coaches, and the duration of the cheating. The only hope I cling to is that everyone involved in compliance still has a job. I assume they won't if we get hit with LOIC, and wouldn't if UM absolutely though that was coming.

Im not thinking anything anymore. i am just gonna wait to see what the NCAA says, and expect the worse

Why would Hurtt or Stoutland not be allowed to coach at the moment? If/when they receive any punishment it will be at the same time UM does. It's not like their possible transgressions at UM are part of a separate investigation.
