Injuries - who else is concerned?

I'm basking in the glow of beating those fvcks who are just up I-81 from me, but I'm chomping at the bit to see if guys like Perryman/Bush/Duke/Dye are just a little banged up or if their injuries are more severe.

Perryman's looks like the same ankle flaring up again...and even before he fell down on Thomas's big TD run and tweaked it again, he didn't look full-speed to me. It might be time for him to sit for a game, and hope he heals up.

Bush laid some MAJOR wood last night and may have facked up his shoulder in the meantime. To me, if it were a simple shoulder separation, they would have popped it back in and he would have continued. I just hope it's not a severe separation, AC joint sprain, or collarbone issue. Any of those things could sideline him at least until the bowl (if we play in one). I'm most concerned about losing him, though all of our safeties did step up last night and play better than they have all season.

Duke got used quite a bit last night, and was effective. He took some shots last night though. He's a tough dude, but there were a few times I didn't think he'd be coming back in. Hopefully, nothing major.

Dye, I think, just got rocked a little bit--but I don't remember him coming back after that play--seemed like it was Walford/Cleveland in for the rest of the game.

Same for Gionni Paul and Eddie Johnson early in the ballgame...and they both came back to make some plays. Kacy Rodgers was down for a little bit near the end of the 1st half, but continued on and did alright.

UVA is facking turrible...but we need to be healthy to beat any ballclub remaining, including them.

It was a physical game. All the injuries you mention are not serious. Bush has a stinger he has been battling all season. He actually aggravated it on the hit in the end zone. Duke is fine, he just fell on the ball. The good news is we have some ballers who do not disappear after getting nicked up.

Our whole team mentality has changed from soft to always laying the wood. The injuries from hitting are welcomed. Some added strength and those should go away. Bush facking destroyed that back last night.

Thank god we have a long week to rest.

I told you it would be a war, casualties left and right. Thank god we beat up Logan because he was really hesitant in that second half.

You don't just "pop" back in a shoulder seperation. Dislocated shoulders get popped back in, but seperations are a whole different ball game. Let's hope it isn't seperated.

The announcers even pointed out the beating he was taking. Loved seeing us hit him hard and often, even when he was gaining yards he was paying for it.

This, let's hope it's neither as both can be nagging injuries that reappear later on. I thought I say him on the sidelines saying Why? Like dude knew it was messed up, hopefully they held him out as a precaution.

Sorry, didn't know I was dealing with Dr. Rosenrosen on the football board.

Very impressed with the freshmen toughing it out.

I want us to just get to the off-season. I wouldn't even mind another bowl ban because the extra month or so of lifting would be better than a few practices or Meinike Car Bowl exposure.

UTough = road to winning

Didn't mean to try and help you understand the difference. As someone that has had a seperated shoulder, it really sucks and takes a long time to get back on the field.

it's true. dislocations are quick and easy unless you tear the rotator cuff. separations take a lot more recovery time and anything other than a minor separation usually requires surgery. big difference.

Yeah if he tore his RC we would know about it because he would be done for.

I'm optimistic that it's just continuous punishment on his shoulder wearing him down that some offseason rest will quickly heal, but there's too much going on in that area to be sure until he gets fully checked out.

For anyone here who knows about medicine, would repeated stingers be a sign of some kind of nerve damage?

I'd love to see a GIF of Bush's hit on the RB. Rocked his ***!

Never bothered with an avatar before but thinking about taking the plunge with that one.
