What are your thoughts on tonights rankings? In or Out?
This year's data shows teams generally fall about 5 spots after a loss, so in that case we should fall to 11th.
We have been ahead of UGA in all of the rankings, albeit we had 1 loss, they had 2. Reason I bring that up is they also had great wins, and a few good losses.

But its Bama....and the SEC
Bama has 2 terrible losses
Ole Miss has 2 terrible losses
South Carolina lost to all of the above teams head-to-head

I'm fully prepared for us to be 13th

11-13...sweating it out.

I just think Clemson will be the first team that physically can overmatch SMU so I dont feel good about it.

That being said this has been the craziest year with regards to who you think will win.

I just think you beat teams like Clemson on the edge with speed and SMU can do that. Clemson can’t score for ****. SMU should win by 7
 
Out. I don't see how Alabama and South Carolina aren't in front of us even though they should not be and if that isn't the case then Clemson will beat SMU.

I hope so for our sake...and I agree Clemson can lose because they just cant seem to get any type of offfensive game going. But I expect Mafah to be fed a ton early and basically try to get in slugfest with SMU.
 
I agree we had control over our own narrative but fxcked it off by losing to Cuse...
However we *do* have something to hope for this weekend if SMU wins. ..

Let the committee cannibalize themselves by putting a 3-loss SEC team ahead of us so the backlash should be comedy relief.

we blew it period at Syracuse
 
I believe from what I’ve been seeing and reading that we will be the 11th ranked team tonight. Which means, if SMU wins this coming weekend, we will be in the playoffs.

Neither should he but end of day we controlled our own fate so it’s on us.

We are in. Last week we were #6 and UGa was #7. If they didn't put UGa ahead of us then (with them having 2 losses to our 1), I don't see the 3 loss teams jumping us.
