In depth breakdown of Louisville

Did Petrino's mom write that article? Everyone is setup for All-ACC honors, apparently. Even OL without a great deal of experience.

Homer Louisville writers, go home. You're drunk.

That OL is rife with vulnerabilities for opponents to attack.

*My biggest concern is what we'll do when Petrino adjusts toward the end of the 1st half and then in the second half.

I had the same reaction. Reading that article you would think they were preseason top 10, not #29, in the very same publication that touts how amazing they think they are.

Hopefully we are to the point on Defense where we have enough talent to overcome an O's scheme. We need to get back to where it doesn't matter what you run we will stop you. Speed and tackling is what has been missing the most and I think we have upgraded. Time will tell.

I think our secondary can handle their WRs. Duke is going to have a big game. Our boys are hungry

That was one **** of a slurp job, but interesting nonetheless. Don't doubt Petrino's offense will burn us bad, at least a few times. But the believer in me says our offense burns them more and we win a shootout.

"They were always putting their foot on the brake," Parker said in July of the previous staff. "They didn't want to score anything."

Lulz. And they scored 36 against us? Oh lawd. But somehow, someway D'ohrito gonna stop 'em this time. Just gotta #believe.

I agree, he will adjust and if AG and his buddy do not, we will get embarrassed again. Talent and experience are no longer excuses. This is the team they hand-picked. I think it has sunk in, and the staff will coach accordingly. Not making guarantees, because I still have lots of doubts about these guys as coaches but at the very least they should own whatever the results are this year without BS explanation.

This would change things a little

Jody Demling ‏@jdemling 19m
Micheal Dyer has a quad contusion, day-to-day right now. Petrino hopes he's back for Miami game.

Jeff Greer ‏@jeffgreer_cj 18m
#UofL RB Michael Dyer (quad contusion) hasn't practiced since injury on Saturday. Staff waiting for swelling to go down before he returns
