FSU would rather play GT and their one dimensional triple option.

we played FSU pretty tight until the 4th quarter. We gave them a good scare and VT brought it to them as well. I hope we don't self impose. Getting one more shot at beating those smug SOB's is a nice early Christmas present.


Sidenote For the first time this season the offense and defense attacked the other team for most of the game.

Actually, FSU does want a rematch. They want the opportunity to stick it to us. They feel like they are the better team and that the first game really wasn't indicative of how much better they feel they are. I know for a fact one coach feels that way.
 
LULZ what happened the last time FSU played Gerogoa Tech? I think theyd rather play us

If we dont go ..........Id like to see GT play them. I think GT will give them trouble and beat them with only a week to prepare.
 
FSU's further along than we are right now... for all their issues at the end of the Bowden era, their talent/depth never got anywhere near as depleted as our's did. They'd beat us 9 times out of 10 right now.... handily most of those times. I think 1775's right - they'd welcome it for recruiting & perception. Tables start to turn next year, I think, so they are probably more than willing to get another lick in while they can.
 
They beat us THIS YEAR in MIAMI. They have nothing to play for because if there is any local recruiting damage it is done.

A loss would be unexpected for them and would instantly erase the first game against us.

A win wouldn't do much, we're expected to lose and we already lost at home.

I want the rematch bad, I don't think they want it as much.
 
They are definitely further ahead, but at the same token this is supposed to be their time to shine and they are failing with the opportunity they've had. It's not gonna last much longer.

if we play them you have a Hungry Miami team noone really believes in vs a complacent Noles team who thinks they should be in the MNC game. If I was a nole fan I would be worried. I know it would be a battle but I know one team that would come to play. Go Canes.

Good point about them already coming out ahead this year. Still though we are a vulnerable rival, you would think they would love to stick it to us again.
 
As much as I hate FSU and their smug ******* fans, that program and their players aren't scared of anything (Jimbo may change that). It's why we have such great games against them. I don't think they give a **** who they play, but we can keep telling ourselves they do.
