texted my buddy that wieclaw was the best we have ever had after one of his 4 yard line pin down kick-offs in Q1. I obviously enraged the ghosts of Carlos Huerta, Todd Sievers and Matt Bosher so uh... sorry about that.

Kidding aside, the kid seems like he's lost all confidence since the short miss at GT. Hopefully he can turn it around, but when a kicker loses his confidence it can spell disaster.

On a side note, I hate "extra point" length field goals from either hash. It seems like a lot of kickers struggle with that kick. It certainly seemed like wieclaw was over compensating for his miss at GT on that first short fg.
 
Two short misses in a row just rattled the kid.

He will be ok though.

The best in awhile? You mean since our last kicker?
 
He's my boy theres obviously a bias I have. Biosphere was great but all time favorite Andy Konrad he as my baby sitters boyfriend when I was 10 haha
