some thoughts...

- Stephen Morris is like this team in a microcosm, he is frustrating, flawed, but also exciting and never gives up. Bottom line is this- he is a hot and cold guy, always has been, always will. But he can do things physically we havent' seen in a long time at qb

- Jedd Fisch and his redzone playcalling kill me. No, the drops( especially the one by Cleveland aren't on him) but at 23-7, UM is 'thisclose' to really putting the hammer down and he doesn't run the rock inside. It's not even about the result, you have to just keep it simple and smart. Fisch is exceedingly intelligent- and that can be a blessing and a curse

- Its official, Wieclaw has gone all Andy Crosland. He is an issue/liability

- And at Tight End, forget Kellen Winslow or Jeremey Shockey, where have you gone Deadrick Epps?

- Two words to describe this D- 'hot mess'- but for much of the first half, they more than did their part.

- Terrible and dumb play by Shayon Green on the running into the kicker. C'mon, football IQ, don't even get near that guy. Especially knowing how bad the D is.

- But three weeks ago, did you think the Canes would be 4-1 and 3-0 in conference? This team, if anything is entertaining and they are finding a way. But get your seat-belt on, this will be a roller coaster ride the whole way

Im just glad I can enjoy the rest of my Saturday....

Jedd had me throwing $#!t at the TV today. He almost outsmarted himself. Simple works. It rarely gets confused, miscommunicated, or breaks down. Simple. Nothing like it for reliability.

Jake had a bad day. He's fine. He'll pull it back together.

UM used to be TE university. I haven't seen a tight end at the U since . . . . geez.

Kickers are headcases. He will be ready for nd in the seirling chicago winds.

Same exact thoughts when it was 23-7. I told my son, we needed a steady dose of Mike James and we put them away!

Greg Olsen.....wait...there was a kid by the name of Jimmy Graham...he wasn't bad here.

It really is about the result.. if the tight ends had both caught those passes there wouldn't be a SINGLE person on any board talking about how "fisch gets cute"..

I'll disagree, there have been plenty of folks on this board, who have complained about this long before any drops or overthrows. Again, I like Fisch, I just wish he'd go with the KISS philosophy sometimes( Keep it simple, stupid)

One could argue that both play calls resulted in open receivers in the end zone. One could also argue that our two main RB's had unimpressive games rushing the ball. There's a legitimate case to be made that those were the right calls.

that 3rd missed FG wasnt on claw that was on golden. i understand if you dont kick there you are showing no faith in him but they shouldnt have kicked it and punted like they did like 3 minutes laters. But we won so we shouldnt try and find the bad things.
