booked my flight and **** boxing( for one weekend- besides I can watch the fights later on that night)

I think this is the biggest game of the Golden Era and a real tone setter for 2013 and beyond

Like Bart Scott....

Not sure what boxing you are referring to? The May vs Alv fight is the 14th. But I'm with you. Every time I talk about the game I say it's at 8 cause that's the time my tent will be up, pong will be playing and drinks will be flowing. **** the Gaytors all is fair in love and war.

Both HBO and SHO have cards that day scheduled( one near my home at the Stapels Center) but this day is about Hurricane football

CIS tailgate?

Sounds like a pretty good idea honestly

LMAO..any of you guys ever been to sunlife for a big game...

unless you all have green or purple parking you will be hauling all your **** miles thru tons of people in 100 degree heat...sunlife does not allow groups to get together with Orange parking.....them stadium ***** will make sure of that

Got my ticket from Dallas to Ft Lauderdale for 220 on Spirit! Need two good tickets to the game, if anyone isn't going :)

Already have my flight booked for that weekend and me and my friends have reserved our house for that weekend.

All that's left is to buy the game tickets.

Dude it doesn't have to be a block party, just get drunk under some tents after you eat by your car or whatever.

Sure...just have your drunk asses in your seats when the guys run thru the smoke.....that would be a nice change this year

I know it was October but Miami FSU in 2000 was at noon. There's definitely some similarity between the landscape of both games.

Were do we start...

Both at noon...( temp TBD for gator game)
It was the Orange bowl
they were number 1
we were number 7
it was the 5th game of the season

we were coming off a good year from probation beating a better GT team with our back up Dorsey in the Gator Bowl...

the 99 recruting class is considered one of the BEST ALL TIME ever classes

1999 Class highlights

Miami had signed two full classes since emerging from the shadow of NCAA sanctions, but this class launched the Hurricanes back into the nation's elite and helped lay the foundation for the 2001 BCS title team, which is on a Muggsy Bogues-short list of the best football squads in NCAA history.

Quarterback Ken Dorsey, receiver Andre Johnson, offensive tackles Bryant McKinnie and Vernon Carey, tailbacks Clinton Portis and Jarrett Payton and cornerback Phillip Buchanon punched their tickets to Coral Gables in 1999. Once there, they joined a group that included safety Ed Reed (class of 1997) and awaited the arrival of a 2000 class that would include tailback Willis McGahee, tight end Kellen Winslow and linebacker Jonathan Vilma.

The group would have won two BCS titles if not for a controversial pass interference call late in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl that allowed Ohio State to pull off an upset

I see where you are going that this is the game to launch us back into someone, I agree, AL needs a bigtime win as we do...Good post
