5 total losses (cap of 80) and 10 new losses (class of 15), then we can bring in 17 kids this year since we have 2012 slots for AJL and what would have gone to Avery Young. If the rumors of RL3 walking on is true , then we could get to 18. Here's what I think we could expect out of a class of 18:

Kevin Olsen
Derrick Green
Beau Sandland (JUCO)
Travis Johnson
Standish Dobard
Jeremy Kerr
Denver Kirkland
Alex Gall

Keith Bryant
Jaynard Bostwick
Javon Hooks (JUCO)
Tim Williams
Devante Bond (JUCO)
Matthew Thomas
Jermaine Grace
Artie Burns
Jamal Carter
Ray Lewis III (walk on)

IMO, that's a homerun class. Tons of help on the defensive line, a big time tight end, a QB of the future, and young studs littering the roster.

I'd put RL3 at running back and call it a day. You'll get Michel and Cooke in 2014, so no need to crowd up the depth chart. A combo of Green and Duke should be enough to win the ACC.

****, who knows, maybe we'll bring Alex Collins back in the fold.

The only unrealistic recruits in that class imo is Green and Williams. And I won't count them out with Golden recruiting them.

Williams has us as his leader, and the rumor is LSU pulled his offer. He's far from a reach.

Green is more of a reach (as is Hooks), but we're sitting well with them right now so they aren't pipe dreams. If we don't get Green, we'll probably settle for one of the Miami backs. If we don't get Hooks, maybe we offer Bradley, Toby Johnson, or Deadrin Senat.

The flaw there is that if we impose a limit of 15 new scholarships, it would limit our total class to 17 (2 for 2012, 15 for 2013).

I understand but that is a big if (15 new scholarships) and also how many in total can count towards 2012. The JUCOs will likely enroll early.
 
If we could get to 85/25, we'd definitely take a 2nd RB, 4th oline, 1st & 2nd wide receiver, 2nd DE, 3rd LB, a corner, a punter
