If we beat the Gatas, 11-1 0r 12-0

If we can beat UF, any loss thereafter would be a major choke, but I don't see that happening (choking). Even at FSU, losing to a team with no QB, while we have a 4 year starter constitutes a let down.

Seriously. I know the Gatas are missing the core of last year's team, won a lot of games they didn't deserve and should have been 7-5 or 8-4, but they are light years better than the UNCs and Virginias, and GT and VT.

If we are good enough to beat them, we will be good enough to roll over bad ACC teams (and relatively by BCS standards, the ACC has two teams that wouldn't be at the bottom of any other conference (FSU and Clemson)

We may be everyone's bowl game, but when we beat the gaytors, we become everyone's national championship again. There will not be any easy games after 8/30.

Agree, but we have a staff that seem to have these guys mentally prepared for that.

Loosing to the gators hasn't even crossed my mind. When I think of the game, the only thing I'm thinking about is how much are we going to win by. Will we win by 3 or 10+ is the only question Cane fans should be thinking about. They are coming to our house & we have 19 returning starters coming back, enough said.
 
We should be worrying about plane tickets to whatever BCS bowl game were in

Because we haven't been any good.

If we can beat the Gatas (I think they are weak, but that doesn't matter, they would never lose to the lousy ACC teams that own us), we are light years ahead of UVA and UNC.

Obviously, if we can't beat UF, all bets are off on whether we are good enough to beat bad teams like UVA and UNC.

That's the Coker "VT lost last week, no way we can beat them now" mentality.

A hyped up UNC or UVA or GT couldn't beat anyone but the last place team in any other BCS conference, if that.

Oh no! UVA is really fired up! This is their bowl game! Only a bad team loses to these clowns.

If the Gatas played UNC and UVA 6 times a piece this season, they would be 12-0. The fact that in recent history we would be 2-10 at best says a lot more about us than how tough these ACC powerhouses are when they are gunning for ya. :)

Then you are not confident in the staff. If we have the horses and coaching to beat UF, we can beat BAD (and they are bad!) ACC teams.

Christ, UNC had ONE RB, and that was their entire team, and he is gone. A default coach, no QB, no nada this year. The UVA coach will lose his job the second we beat them (his record against teams not Miami is like 2-20)

Are you saying Golden has a lot of Shannon in him, where the team has to quit from the get go at least 4 times a season?

UF has PWN'd us in recruiting, and no other team we play but FSU has more than one player who would even make their two deep, if that.

We are talking about horrid teams.

Again, do you think UNC, GT, VT or UVA would win ONE SEC game? No, of course you don't think that.
 
BTW, since UNC, VT, FSU, UVA and until most recently GT have humiliated us over and over again, how come WE aren't gunning for them?

Not like we saved our best for KSU, ND or other big OOC games, eh?

Maybe if UVA was our "National Championship Game", we wouldn't be like 1-9 against them.

Maybe if UNC was our "Bowl Game", default coaches with QBs they picked out of the stands right before kickoff wouldn't embarrass us?

Not like we have had real bowls or NC games that distracted us.

Maybe it is us? Why can't we come out mean?

Neg the **** out of me, but lots of y'all are delusional *** homers. Have some respect for the game. Our '01 team is arguably the best team ever and we almost lost to BC. It is not easy to get up for your opponent week after week. You dumb ****ers thinking this is easy. I hate the ignorant homers who then bash everyone who has any ounce of realism in their body.

That was all on Coker. He tried to lose the VT game as well that year.

But, in reality, we haven't beaten anyone, not a relevant team, since about '04. A 6-5 OU team in 2009, a 7-5 OSU* team in 2011, and a four loss FSU in 2009. That is IT! That is the Miami highlights of the last ten years. Wake Forest has more ACC success than us, and it's not even close!

The drinks are kicking in, and visions of that 2010 FSU game and listening to their fans laugh it up (Now THAT was a home game with a 70-30 FSU to UM split :( ) haunt me.

Nobody we have played in the last 9 years is as good as this bad Gatas team.

If we win, we ain't losing to any other clowns.

love your passion. i just want to beat UNC and UVA this year. its been what 3 seasons in a row now that theyve beaten us? simply unacceptable to be losing UVA
