Going to love to see where they get ranked. If they hadn’t lost to Bama, they drop around 4 - 5 spots and no issue. But they did lose to Bama and they will both be 3 loss SEC teams and Bama won head to head. So no issue, you put them right behind Bama and in front of Miami. Except they also lost to Ole Miss. so how do you put a 3 loss Georgia team behind Bama and 2 spots in front of Ole Miss?
So Committee will need to say - a conference championship loss isn’t really a full loss, so we will treat them as a 2.5 loss team amd not drop them more then a couple spots. But what if SMU loses as well? They only way to keep Georgia in by discounting a Championship game loss now keeps SMU in and keeps Bama out.
I know the Committee will find a way to ***** the ACC and protect the SEC, but hard to see how they have any credibility left if George and SMU lose. Even more so if Georgia loses big and SMU loses small.
