Id take Miami's current recruiting class over UGa's easily

Ummm i dont know about this, sounds pretty dumb
I like our class, but if we could have got 9 top 50 guys(#1 dual qb #2Natl , #1 rb # 6 Natl,#1 OG #1 0 Natl, #2OT #1 6Natl,#1 OLB #1 8Natl, #2SDE #22Natl ,#3RB #31Natl , #2OG #38Natl , and #2TE #49Natl ) i would take that in a heartbeat.
They have 9 top 50 guys we have 1, could end up with 2.
That oline alone would be a great class
Come on man

Other people here would too, IF they were looking objectively.

not impressed lol y'all are some groupies

I get it man, You're the blind homer. I understand. Call me a groupie if you'd like makes me no difference.

Man, ain’t gone even lie, I’d take their class in the trenches over ours right now. Everywhere else ours is better.

But if the choice was one class or the other you would take Miami's class overall even though UGa has better talent in the trenches.

That's my point.... but Nesta is the reason I don't agree. Hes going to destroy any olineman in front of him.

Would you trade DJ Ivey and Al Blades for another highly rated OLineman and DTackle? I wouldn't, I think our talent is more concentrated to one area. Their talent is more diverse.
I would!

I’d trade Salyer and Mays for Ivey and Blades in a minute. I would trade Ivey and Blades for their two best DTs too. I would trade Ivey and Blades for Mays and Wyatt. AND I LIKE IVEY AND BLADES!

In fact, if Miami was guaranteed to get Silvera, I would trade Campbell and Surtain for the next 2 best DTs (M. Thompson and ... I don’t know ... Sandidge - or another top DT who would get immediate PT).

Maybe Smart plays the bag game and Richt doesn't. Makes sense now.

knew this thread was coming at some point...

They'll get theirs. Let's keep them away from Tyson Campbell and finish with ours.

All this hype about their recruiting class being one of the best all time?? Where?

Miami is loaded with better dbs, better rbs, equally talented qb, better wrs, all time TE duo, #1 FB, elite olineman, beast DT, athletes, playmakers all over.

Fck y'all want??.. I'm not trading this squad over any single fckn player committed to another team.

Recruiting rankings so fake, this class is the clear #1 .

Thank you Coach Richt and staff!!! :U5PyXda:

The **** do I want? More DTs

Tbh I don't get involved with this **** measuring contest.

We've signed some talented kids. They've signed some talented kids. It's all now down to how you develop them.

I don't need to say stupid things to justify our class. It's a very good start and hopefully it all comes together nicely in two months.

Is it the best class? No, it isn't and you aren't being objective if you say it is. You would be splitting hairs either way.

The last two classes will be good enough to compete for a national championship providing the coaches are up to par. We'll see what happens, but there's no reason to be disappointed with anything we've done recruiting wise.

Easily, but we cant now bc we whiffed on the top DBs.

This is why your name has Krazy in it. Anybody that knows football knows it starts in the trenches. Anybody that watched the Clemson game knows we had no shot because of our Oline. There O line class is absolutely absurd. Now if we can close with something like Campbell, Meadows, Surtain, Thompson then yeah we have an argument. But when our oline has underperformed for yrs and we cant land a legit OT and one of biggest needs is DT and we only have 1 commit I personally cant argue that our class is better.

We have elite oline commits this class what are you complaining about?

I’m not complaining, i’m also just realistic. If you consider John Campbell and Cleveland Reed elite than what do you think Mays and Salyer are??? Take off the shades for a minute jesus.

Stop being a groupie over opinionated high school rankings... our commits could end up being the better prospects they have just as much NFL potential and potential to make up a dominant cfb oline..so why does it matter??

That’s your opinion which is fine. As a former college coach I just highly disagree that our line is even close to there line.

Whiffed?
Frierson
Hall
Blades
Ivey
Foh, and we are still for sure in the game with Tyson Campbell arguably the best db in the country

Best QB in the class. 3 top 40 players on the OL. A beast of a pass rusher and the #1 RB in the country is no joke. Our class is great, but **** those trench bullies are up there.

This is my only beef with our class. I want more nasty DL's and OL's. Particularly, DT's. DMoney has showcased the importance of the DT position in College Football.

We have improved with their Oline recruiting, but the still can use at least one more stud. Dline recruiting only has Rosseau and Nesta. Until we can average two or 3 Dline players in each recruiting class we would not be perennial contenders like we expect to be

Our recruits just have to do their jobs, and we can beat anyone in the country.

The only thing that held us back from being where they are this year is the QB position.

It's as simple as that.

Especially in that pitt game. A normal qb would have/should be expected to complete the throws malik missed in that game

Not gonna lie, our class is not that far off from UGA's class in terms of pure talent.....we signed a good 20. However uga's class has the slight edge with their trench guys.

That's where i stand. Our athletes can stand with any.

But that gap in trench guys highlights a concern i will always have until depth is restored - you can never have enough talent there.
- Bama has won the last few years in the trenches and with a run game.
- Clemson has won the last few years in the trenches and with QB play.
- Oklahoma's offense has one of the best Olines in college protecting it's Heisman QB.....they lose bc their Dline and defense in general is atrocious.
- Georgia came back to prominence with with Oline and Front 7 play and run game.
- Michigan became relevant again with OL/DL play.
- Ohio State/Auburn - trench play and run games.

The list goes on and on. Our DT depth is concerning if RJ and Norton leave. We have stud DEs but we need depth....Jackson will be a senior and coming off injury, DJ has questions about future position (i say SDE but who knows based on some things discussed here). With how fast these teams play today, Dlinemen HAVE to rotate or they will gas. On the Oline, it's difficult to project, so you need depth to allow guys time to adjust to the strength and speed of the game, or for those who don't pan out.

In the theoretical world where Miami traded classes with University of Georgia man for man, Miami would come out way ahead.

One reason: offensive line AND defensive line. UGA: 5 OL, 2 DE, DT; Miami: 3 OL, 1 DE.

6 of their 8 guys would theoretically start next year for Miami where only maybe 2 of Miami’s 4 signees will start for Miami.

Every one of your post in this thread make no sense

We have the best twosome of guards in the country. Would love a couple of their OTs though. And a dt to go with silvera.
