- Great Coach on the KSU side
- Tough and experienced QB for them
- They were at home
- We are so young...... and our best new player (Duke) dropped 4 passes
- Most of our Dbs havent played more than two D1 games
- We lost our best WR in the first Qtr
- Our O Line has been weak since 2001... stop with the Kehoe love .... time to move on

This game will be important in a few years ...... like a game in 1997 ...any one?

Can't agree more. I'm just ****ed off at the fact that we just quit out there. Usually we're in the game at least....but no, not this time.
 
Not disappointed in the loss, but that the team fell apart in the 2nd half. If we come out with a little heart and score on the 1st possession in the second its a 24-13 game, and basically a fresh start. Too bad it didn't happen, and it was frustrating seeing them do the same things over and over again and not be able to do anything. Still 1-1 is what anyone should expect from this team at this point. Hope this next week becomes a better opportunity to fine tune the mistakes and get the young players ready for the teeth of the ACC schedule.

Agree on all points, especially the part in bold.

I don't know why people keep insisting we "quit" in the second half or the team fell apart in the second half. We got steam rolled the WHOLE GAME......that's the truth. We should have given up 31 points in the 1st half if not for a last second eff up by K-State.

We forced 1 punt with 20 seconds left in the game. Pretty sure that means we got rolled from the opening kick off.
