I'd like him to be prepared to come in on 3rd or 4th and shorts during ACC play, with the sole intent of ******* people in the face with his stop signs sticking out of his sides as he plows forward for yardage.
 
Let's hope the O-line comes to play. Once again the most disappointing unit on the team so far.

In the second half Gus ran behind the following O-Line:

Taylor Gabois (R-FR- First Action), Alex Gall (FR- First Action), Jared Wheeler (SR)/Hunter Wells (R-SO), Sean Harvey (JR- Walk on I beleive played last year in 2 games) and Paul Kelly (SR- Our Long Snapper)... needless to say I would imagine thats not a unit that gets many reps together making Gus numbers that much more impressive regardless of the opponent.
 
Needs to be in a lot more. Want him in at FB with Duke on field, not just to spell Duke. The combo could be deadly. Don't know how his blocking is, but sure would like to see both on field at once.

Love the guy to death, but for me he is more shifty - also faster than initally advertised - than hitting it up in there like a bus. Runs a little tall, needs more bend, lower pad level. Worry that wont be as effect against legit defenses and may get blown up.
Also still don't think OL is playing to size and potential, especially in run game. That's biggest concern going forward.

Bingo. Golden mentioned that they are working with him on that.

His physical ability is even better than advertised. It was great to see him finish so many runs with second and third effort. He learned from the goal-line stand against FAMU.
 
I really like this guy.......he is only a Freshman and WILL get bigger, better, stronger, faster. shows some good flashes

I will wait for the fuggin "fans" in a couple of weeks to call him a JAG or BUST cuz of not doing something, or failing to get a first..what ever the case. Some "fans" sing high praises only to then come back and say: but he doesn't perform vs. "elite talent".
 
I liked him from his first run vs FAU.
I didn't realize he was in the game and I turned to my dad and said, "who was that?"

Shifty, big, hits the hole, really good vision.
