I Pray This is Start of the Media Narrative Coming to Balance

Looking at the AP Poll and those in front of us, keep winning and the rest will take care of itself.



1. ORE - Remaining games against ILL, MICH, MARYLAND, WISKY, AND WASH. Really only 2 real threats on that schedule with the road game against MICH being the true test.

2. UGA - Remaining games against UF, OLE MISS, TENN, UMASS, and TECH. Neutral site against UF and road game against OLE MISS should be telling. TENN, I fear, has been exposed since a hot start.

3. PSU - Remaining games include WISKY, OSU, WASH, PURDUE, MINN, and MARYLAND. And they call our schedule weak! Cant see more than one potential loss here.

4. OSU- Remaining games include NED, PENN STATE, PURDUE, NW, IND, and MICH. 3 tough match ups down the stretch, but only one of em on the road (PENN STATE, 11/2).

5. TEX- Remaining games include VANDY, UF, ARK, KENTUCKY, and A&M. Vandy wont be sneaking up on anyone, thanks tot he Bama upset. UF and A&M should provide some challenges.

6. CANES- Remaining games include FSU, DUKE, TECH, WAKE, and SYR. 3 out of 5 at home. Tech will give us fits and passing game better be shored up before playing the Orange.

7. TENN - Remaining games include KENTUCKY, MS STATE, UGA, UTEP, VANDY. Easiest upcoming slate. I can only see one more L for them.

8. LSU - Remaining games include A&M, BAMA, UF, VANDY, OK. Tough slate remaining. Could realistically lose another 2-3.

9. CLEM - Remaining games include VILLE, VA TECH, PITT, CIT, and SC. We'll find out just how improved Klubnik truly is down the stretch.

10. IOWA STATE - Remaining games include TT, KANSAS, CINCY, UTAH, KANSAS ST. Dont even know what to make of this team after watching them struggle against the run vs. UCF and almost lose to a 8 for 21 passer.

Michigan is atrocious. Might finish 6-6. They provide no resistance for Oregon/Oh*o St

Guys, we're actually pretty good. Ward is legit. Mario is doing a good job overall: not perfect, but good. The defense is struggling, but is better than we think. We are getting everyone's best shot and generally weathering storms, controlling the game, and winning! The only exception to the latter was Cal, which we were fortunate to win but that's what ability and a little bit of good fortune do for you! No one wants to face Cam Ward and these Canes if they have something to lose...

I thought the defense was worse than we thought? Were some of you picturing it even worse than what we know now? What does that even look like?
