I think he would have big time success at Miami. I also think he will still be at WKU for one more season.

I also think there are other coaches who could have similar success.

People think there is an extreme limited supply of quality HCs available, but it is not about the supply IMO. It is about actually hiring the best coach available.

I don't think Petrino is even being called for interviews and I don't think this off-season will change that. I think after the stink wears off (next season) the teams will come calling.

How about Chud? He is young and got a raw deal. He is a name that is available.

LOL @ how out of touch with reality our fanbase really is.
We just finished escaping the NCAA death grip for some improper behavior and we have fans on here championing hiring a coach that would be a major discipline liability that can get us right back into the NCAA's crosshairs. Really smart. That would truly then be RIP Miami football.

You cant hand the keys of a football program on probation to someone who has displayed some horribly poor judgement. You just can't.
Take your goddam emotions out of things and think for a second.

Don't get me wrong. In a fantasy world I would love to have Petrino. But this ain't fantasy land.

I am thinking logically, I think people make mistakes and **** happens. If I was an employer I would interview the guy and see what he says. Remember this is a guy who is extremely talented and he already showed sincere regret to the media. I also doubt he does it again.

I don't think he is on watch by the NCAA because of an affair. If you hire him, watch him as if he was on probation.
