The first couple lines put things in perspective:

“13. Miami Hurricanes: A+

The U is back, baby!

Miami's recruiting class ranked 27th in 2015, 22nd in 2016 and 12th last year before ascending to No. 7 this year. It's the first time the Hurricanes have ranked in the top nine since claiming the No. 1 spot back in 2008. Lorenzo Lingard, a 5-star running back, is their crown jewel, but this group is loaded with 4-star talent that will help Miami remain within shouting distance of Clemson atop the ACC standings.”

Our defensive recruiting needs some help for sure. However I think if we keep developing our kids and out performing the expectations of “stars” like we did this past year, we will be in good shape. Hopefully that will help recruiting in turn.

Offensive staff is a bunch of Aces and took this class to the next level...

I have lost faith on crooting a bunch of middling talent on Defense and can only hope their great "coaching prowess" can extract everything out of their kids...

O will be an onslaught of talent which might be handicapped by play call... defense will need every bit of coaching and proper play calling to their style with little error

If the Dfense starts struggling against bad QBs again next season do we blame missing out on 2 5 Star CBs in our own backyard or the play calling?

Shouldnt happen... Dmoney just wrote a novel today stating how wonderful of a coach Buummph is and how even though he couldnt gift wrap us a couple of kids who probably saw his as a role model/second father couldnt get it done

D will take a bit of a hit, but the infusion of elite talent on offense should offset that. We’ve been consistently putting together better seasons on the field and on the trail. Everything is trending in the right direction, don’t let unrealistic expectations ruin that for u.

The only thing handicapping the O last year was a baseball player at QB.

If you keep recruiting top 10 talent you should be a top 10 team every year.

And if you recruit top 3 talent every year you'll finish in the top 3 like bama has over this decade. Not too many guys fall through the cracks nowadays. With social media, camps, etc, we aren't going to pull a bunch of unknown ballers like the old days. Plus coaching was better back then. Coaching is better now than the clappy, radio, and fold em days, but it's not title worthy.
