Most of the teams we play have first year or two experience HC's and a plethora of new assistants. Lots of star players from our opponents got drafted or even left via the portal therefore I see an even playing field with us having the advantage with higher quality and experienced coaches. For example Strong was a hot item head coach recently, Gattis and others are HC material. What staff in the ACC matches our quality? Even Clemson had massive changes...
Clemson changes
I am optimistic based on these items plus Mario did not inherit a bare cupboard and is adding the right elements. Last year opening with Alabama was a disaster for us, this year we get the first two games to prep for Texas A&M plus A&M was 8-4 where they almost lost to Colorado winning 10-7 and lost to Arkansas, Miss St, Ole Miss, and LSU. Sure they recruit well but Jimbo got worse each year at FSU and left them a basket case. Our two toughest opponents are Clemson and ourselves. Winning is a habit, we need that habit back that got us 58 straight wins in the OB.
