I can't really say today was a surprise

I'm actually more surprised by the reactiion than I am the result. I fully expected several games like this this year. Today in particular had all the makings of a blowout. Young team, coming off a win versus a bad opponent, traveling west (midwest) against a top 25 team.

I guess I'm not as distraught as many of you just because I expected it. Last week was nice but a bad team exposed some dusturbing weaknesses that we've seen over and over and over again the last 3-4 years. This is a 4-5 win team.

To be sure, I've got hope for the future but Coach D scares the you know what out of me.

Go Canes!

I was not surprised in the least. The only chance we had is for turnovers to go our way. ****, we needed the turnovers to beat a mediocre BC team. Our DL is atrocious, and worse still, we have no depth. Then we have true freshmen in the secondary. That is a recipe for disaster, particularly against a top 25 team on the road w/ a good qb. This was eminently predictable for anyone not blinded by bias.

And do people still believe herbstreet is biased or ill informed based on his predictions for our season? Sounds like he is right on the money.

Didn't surprise me. Anyone surprised is delusional. This team sucks. The defensive scheme sucks. The team looked no different from the product that Shannon used to trot out. Maybe K State are world beaters (doubt it), but there's no excuse for what we saw today. None. Youth may be an excuse for losing, but not for getting taken to the woodshed. That was a total embarrassment.

When you consider our weaknesses versus their strengths I completely expected KSU to rack up yards and points.

However I expected us to keep up with them and hopefully win the red zone war.

Just couldn't get anyone on offense to make a play besides Hurns and then he went down. Good to see Walford get involved though.

Do you realize we havent given up this many points in 167 games.

yet, youre not surprised?

I ain't even mad.
After 8-10 years of garbage... I am not surprised.

Klein didn't even give us a chance to PTA (prepare thy ****)

Whats interesting is that mask wearing ****** called it precisely.
