I already know where this is going, but...

FSU is expected to receive a commitment from Boyd Anderson ATH Eddie Jackson tonight.

They offered Jackson today and in all likelihood he will commit tonight. He is a stud, but has had some grades questions throughout high school. Miami has taken a look at him as well.

Where this gets interesting is that Jackson happens to be very close with Stacy Coley. Somebody told me a couple months ago that "Coley is going wherever Jackson goes." That was tough to imagine back then because the big offers hadn't really been coming in until recently for Jackson (Tennessee, LSU, FSU have all offered in the last 3 weeks). I honestly don't think this offer had Coley directly in mind because like I said, I think Jackson is definitely worth of an offer, but this certainly gives FSU something else to sell with Coley.

We will see how it ultimately affects him.

So FSU is going to offer everyones buddy to get them in?

K sure we'll see how that works out down the road.

i think i read somewhere where fsu is signing around 27-28. so they definitely have room to take a few reaches if it gets them the bigger fish. **** is desperate as **** but oh well.

Weren't FSU fans talking **** about how many low star guys Golden has been getting (like he's recruiting at Temple amirite)? 11 out of their 18 commits are 3 stars or less

Oh the irony

Jackson is not a reach like the other guys they've been offering. In a bigger class we may have offered. When is the last time we had a kid from BA?

BA kids always seem to have grade issues. Demar Dorsey comes to mind.

Smart move, especially if Jimbo knows the kid won't qualify. Why not offer him in the chance it tips Stacey to the Noles?

These kids are learning the Dumbo is soft and will do whatever they tell him

The relationship between a player and coach begin in recruiting. When the seed is planted that you need them more than they need you, it opens pandora's box. "De-Recruiting" is made that much more difficult when you drop your draws to any and every prospect that you might want.
