A quick rant:
1. Sheduer Sanders not being ejected for pushing a ref, nor was this covered by ESPN, College Football Recap or anything is an absolute joke. Had it been a Miami player this would have been front news story. It was on Foxnews front page but no other sites I saw.
2. ESPN College Football Final did not have an ACC game mentioned on the recap till about 30 mins into the hour long show. Pretty crazy.
3. What in the world is the media talking about with Travis Hunter? He's an awesome player, he's an amazing guy and tons of respect for him I love the guy, but he is not the Heisman. It should not be a popularity contest of the media, but the most important player to a team. I have to argue that he wouldn't be in my top 5 - I wouldn't even draft him in the top 5. I might be a homer with Cam because I think he matters more to our success and wins, but clearly the truth and stats do lie just like politics. If not Cam, where would Boise be with out Jeanty? Cam and Jeanty mean more to their respective teams than almost every other guy. Does this not feel a little like 2001 with Eric Crouch with having more INTs than TDs - yet he got his team to the Champtionship game and they have 3 loses.
4. This SEC bias is hilarious and I love watching them lose, not to mention there is not a QB in the SEC I would want if I was an NFL GM, at least in the first 3 rounds. Quinn is nothing special, Jalen even on simple stuff is average at best, Carson is awful and I couldn't even imagine him on an average team without really good weapons. None of the rest of the guys either. Seriously the ACC has better QBs and that is not even up for discussion.
5. Our win against Florida looks that much better, but we get no credit for that.
The list could go on and on but it's all a joke.
One last thing - I went to Cal vs. Stanford yesterday as my son got invited for recruiting - an unbelievable athomsphere (not crazy like the SEC or a sold out Miami game but very cool). I didn't make the UM game as he had a game, but a very cool place to watch a game and really nice people. Next time Miami plays there I definitely recommend it.
