It's all about that schedule. 9 games in Florida, 7 of them at Son Life.

Quick: name the starting qb for Duke, Wake, GT, USF, Pitt, FAU, Savannah St, UVA

I'm more interested in who the backup qb's are for Florida and FSU. I can already see Driskell and Winston laying in a fetal position whimpering for their mothers.

Looks like we are 12th. We have the same odds as FSU(ranked 12) /Michigan(ranked 17)/USCe(ranked 7).....behind us ND (ranked 11) at 40-1 , Oklahoma (ranked 16) 50-1 and OKst (ranked 14) at 33-1.

I think it's a big product of a relatively easy schedule.

Not that I would ever bet, but $28,000 one G has a nice ring to it. Assuming Looserville chokes at least once, it is a three game bet -- FSU, ACC title game and the NC. We could lose to the swamp scum and still make the game if we win out and take ACC with dramatic beat down of Clemson. TV would love THE U in the game against Bama or slim OSU. Ratings would be Super Bowl status. Once in the game, if you are gambler and not Cane, you could lay a 5 or 10K against THE U and win either way. Personally, I would rather cut my hand off than bet against THE U, but that is just me. Vegas smells something coming. Worst D in country last year and only 28 to 1. ND is 50 -1? I don't know if Al can coach a big bowl game yet. That is a talent all its own. Took THE U even at 3 -1 in the first NC game from every Cornhusker fan I could find. They thought that 17 point spread was real life. I am still spending that farm money 30 years later. Not that confident yet, but my hand is starting to itch a little bit for some moonshine cash.

Everyone should put their bank accounts on our "win total".

I believe they have us at winning 8.5 games...bet the OVER (duuhh).

8.5 games? I'm going to get some money on that before the season starts.
After we humiliate Florida on national tv the word will be out.

Board thought me and Duval was crazy in march when we predicted 11-12 wins. It's possible.

I think if these d line transfers make it in, and if we stay healthy all year (no injury to Morris, Duke, offensive line, d line) then we have a great shot to win that many games.

Vad lee should have a big year for GT. other than that??? Bunch of nobodies.

I'm curious what history shows to be the correlation between these odds and season outcomes. For example, for teams given 28/1 odds for last season, season before, etc. how did they fair?

I can almost envision Perryman welcoming Driskel to the 305.
