Hurricane club 2014...

I got mine last week. I know people will kill me for suggesting it, but I really am not sure if I want to waste my money, not to mention 6-8 hours a game away from my family, to endure more mediocrity.

Don't do it. Protest with your wallet. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Don't donate money don't give the program a penny of your hard earned money. Doesn't make you less of a fan, it actually makes you a smart one.

Got mine and I'm not donating or buying a **** thing until changes are made. Money talks regardless of what some of these *** clowns on here have to say

Sitting on the desk at home. Was waiting for something that I would deem "Check writing worthy." Hasnt happened yet.

Great idea. Cancel your membership. Starve the program. That's what "real fans" do at places like Bama and LSU, that's why they dont have the resources to afford big time coaches and coordinators and facilities. Show UM whose "boss" by showing how **** poor booster and fan support is, and cancel your tickets too, dont go to any games, that's really going to catch the eye of big time coaches, and recruits!! No one would ever point out that its the very definition of being a "fair weather fan".

Nothing fair weather about not donating to the school or buying season tickets. You have to show your displeasure in a way that has an impact and withholding donations is the only way to do it.

Please tell me how do you protest a product that you are dissatisfied with? Do you keep buying it or do you abstain? Same concept here.

Don't judge others for not spending their hard earned money on this product on the field.

I'll start with a $5000 donation and subtract $1 for every yard given up by the defense.

They'd have ended up owing me money this past year.

Great post. People think you have to hand in your Canes card if you don't donate or buy tickets. Its just a chest thumping exercise. Nothing wrong with it if you withhold your money from a program that doesn't care about fielding the best possible product or a coach that won't even contemplate firing his best friend. Watch the games and hope they win each game, but refusing to spend your money ondoesn't make or break your fandom.

Got mine as well. They are requesting me to donate an incremental $700 to hold my alumni club level seats by Jan 31st. Not happening. After the LVille game I said I would not renew or get season tickets if Dorito was back. If I go to any games I will take my friends leftover tickets or buy on stub hub.

I'll be in the stand supporting the Canes (health permitting) next year. Understand those that won't, not here to criticize or judge, it's not my place; however, I will be in the stands supporting my team.

Nothing wrong with that either.

Yea....look at the CUBS, year in year out sold games...the suck fest continues, back in the 70s the Yankees were horrible and attendance was just as bad , George fought hard for free agency, brought in players and coaches and they started winning, and have become the Yankees we all knew back in the ole days...

just an example, you can get to certain owners/presidents of schools with bad attendance and free money ( our donations)...

Was thinking about becoming a hurricane club member next year. What level do I have to attain to get priority for away games? Do I have to be a season ticket holder to get priority for away games? I plan on going to Nebraska game next year and want to ensure I'll be able to get tickets.
