That's Eddie Brown, Leonard Hankerson and Andre Johnson. Hurns now has 51 catches for 965 yards and 5 TD. He is 35 yards away from becoming the 4th WR in Miami history to go over 1,000 yards. With all of the great WR Miami has had, it's truly amazing that Allen Hurns is about to have one of the best statistical seasons in Miami football history for a WR.

Hankerson had over 1,100 yards in 2010... Notwithstanding, I hear your point. Kid is having a great season.

one of the few consistent players on this team. Senior year too. great to see him having a good season and wish him nothing but the best at the next level

Yes, Hankerson did too, my bad, that's what I get for listening to the ESPN U announcers. I'll edit the thread now. Still an amazing season.

From HurricaneSports on Hank:

"Arguably the best statistical season by a wide receiver in Miami history in 2010 ... Became just the third player in program history to record a 1,000-yard receiving season and the first to have 2,000 yards for a career and 1,000 in a season"

Hurns will be the 4th.

Yes, I edited it. Combo of ESPN U announcers saying he would be the 3rd, and me blocking out the Shannon years.

Hankerson's senior season was really special considering the **** storm that team was and who he had throwing him the ball.

I like Hurns and Hurns almost always catches the football, but Morris only looks at 2 wr's top each pass play and Hurns is always one of them!

Can't believe I forgot him, especially since I was at the Clemson and GT games on the road that year where he lit them up. I'll never forget Clemson fans after the game asking me how we got a tight end who was so fast. I had no idea who they were talking about. They said, you're TE, #85. I said, that's a WR. They were stunned.

Shame he keeps getting hurt in the NFL. I think he could be a low end #1/high end #2.

Wow hard to believe some of the other guys didn't have more than a thousand yards

Always thought he'd be like a Reggie Wayne... Ball low key under a 1 then shine when get his chance

That **** injury bug though

Even more amazing considering our depth at the position. Most thought any WR would have trouble separating themselves from this pack but Hurns has been rock solid. Made plays underneath, sidelines, and deep. **** of a season.
